I find it baffling how quickly some people will change their narrative in their argument against climate change in the face of overwhelming scientific evidence pointing to the contrary.
It usually starts with an outright denial of the existence of climate change using for instance the fact...
I have used the word belief in my previous post but I did not mean it in the religious/spiritual sense of the word. People do not necessarily need to believe in afterlife to "encounter" deceased relatives during NDEs. We have extensive proof that the concept of afterlife is as old as...
My point is that it is dismissive on your part to qualify the brain hypoxia hypothesis as "silly"and "unscientific" when there is sufficient evidence out there to back it up. Of course it will not completely explain the NDE phenomenon but it does give us a pretty good idea of what is happening...
Just to contribute to the subject, I read an interesting article from the dailymail which does attribute the out-of-body experience that many NDE victims experience to activity patterns in the parietal and temporal lobes of the brain (the experiment was successfully reproduced in healthy...
I set up an old Optimus 2X as in car entertainment/GPS for my brother. Keeping the number of apps installed to the bare minimum so that it can keep up in terms of performance.
No Web interface is definitely a deal breaker. Thanks for the heads up Mixolydian and for the recommendation Essence_of_war. The TP Link does seem like what I'm looking for
No feedback? I'd like to add that I don't have any Apple devices and would be using it with a couple of Android devices and a Windows laptop. I'm guessing it won't be too much of a problem since the settings should be accessible through the web interface.
I've been looking for a good router with good range for a while and I stumbled across a deal for a used Apple AirPort Extreme 6th Gen for around $135. I have a couple of mobile devices that I often transfer files to and from and support 802.11ac seems like an upgrade. Also I have an external...
I enjoyed using the Moto X, mostly because of the size but Motorola's nifty features had me seriously wondering weather it's implementation was better that stock Android. The only downside as far as I'm concerned was the camera. Otherwise, it was a well-rounded device that perfectly demonstrated...
A simple USB OTG cable will do the trick. Tablets with full-sized USB ports are rare nowadays unless you're looking at a surface. Some keyboard docks like the ones from the Transformer line of tablets from Asus do offer full-sized USB ports.
Maybe a camera with a touchscreen might offer the flexibility to switch focus on the go. I've personally been looking into Sony mirrorless cameras but the RX100 is also a safe bet.
I personally thought about pulling the trigger on the Fire Phone, particularly considering the 1 year Amazon Prime membership but after checking xda, I decided to pass. $50 less might have made it an impulse buy
