In my post I said that I was now using a 400 watt PSU, so I know thats not it. I didn't realize about the speakers, I will try that next. Oh and yes I tried to boot it with out anything and it still did the same thing. As to the HS I am using a Swiftech MC462 and I checked, it's on right.

Well I tried it and the same thing. I didn't touch any jumpers prior so I left it that way.

I am getting a 2500+ Barton and look foward to OCing. The Swiftech was the best in it's day, but is it still good enough? I'm not real fond of spending another 50+ dollars on another heat sink. Soon to be getting a Asus A7N8X Deluxe and 512 of Corsair XMS 3200 CL2
