    I got the 105 last week and have burned flawlessly on 1X Ritek's (at 1X). I've got the 1.21 firmware and it does NOT burn these at 2x. I did try some Ritek 4X and they burned just fine at 4X. Can't wait for those prices to come down!

    Yup, they're DVR-105's. Pounce on this like a lion on a gazelle. My serial # ended in 816WL. The serial is on the outside of the box. I just grabbed mine from the Fry's in San Diego today.

    It's a 0.18 micron Palomino. Got mine last week and started playing around with it. They're probably just trying to get rid of all the Palomino's still in stock.
