So, I flashed my bios (I think), but when I boot up, it still refers to Bios V1.0A... How do I know if it worked? I'm still getting the weird "pause" -- I've now installed Windows ME and I get the same screwy behavior... Thanks! -Scott

I went ahead and installed the Via drivers and things still behave the same... I got a Linksys 10/100 NIC, but their site doesn't seem to be up right now, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to check for an updated driver from them... I could easily take that NIC back and get a different one...

Doh! Installing that program made my Win 2k installation unbootable! :) hehe So, I'm re-installing. Will keep trying to play with this to make sure I'm getting to take advantage of this drive. -Scott

Hi Everybody, I've got a MSI K7TPro-2A and a IBM 45BG 7200 ATA 100 HD, and when it boots up, I see the chart with all of my drive information and it lists my hard drive as ATA 33. Has anyone seen anything like this before (and if so, do you know how to fix it)? Thanks! -Scott

Ah, that's great to know. I didn't realize that it'd be able to run off an analog signal. Is there any visual difference between analog and digital mode? I still will need to get a new video adapter, I think because the current one only goes up to 800x600 at anything over 256 colors...
