Hi everyone. Im wanting to upgrade my current 2070 super for a 3080 or the equivalent in a AMD GPU (not up to speed on AMD). I think the biggest question is where to get one? I see folks getting them all the time. So how do folks get these (no scalpers). What are the current AMD GPUs. Thanks.
I want to upgrade from 1080p to 1440 or 4k gaming. I have limited funds to do this if possible. Prefer 27 inch to 30 inch monitor. Budget is $350.

I want to get a desktop 5.1 speaker setup for games. Was looking at a logitec set ($100usd) and see that it uses a 3.5 jack. Thought about using the motherboard sound, but it seems to not be very good. So I thought about a sound card also. Are sound cards popular anymore (used one 10-12 years...
I need some recomendations for a AIO or custom loop to cool my 9900k. I don't have any ideal what I would need for a custom loop (pump, rad, fitting). Budget $150ish.. Ny case is a coolermaster MB511. Thanks.
If I get a B450 or x470 mb for a 3700x, how do I flash withou a cpu ? I have flashed with a cpu. Do you still build as usual with all parts installed? Or just certain parts?
From what I have learned so far I will have to pre order the cpu of my choice days before it actually releases. So what are the chances of getting a 3700 or 3800 after day one of pre order?
This reminds me of a story. A car dealership offered new cars for $3000. When people went to the dealership to buy that car, the salesman replied, would you like a set of tires for it? The salesman said politely they're only $12000.
Crazy prices! MY BUDGET WAS $700 $800. Then I raised it to $1000. At this rate I dob;t know if I want to wait for a RYZEN build. Whats even crazier is that all those flashing lights and plasic don't add any significant performance.
I can understand the hush, hush on products months or years away. But we are like less that a month away. As far as sales if its as good as AMD says (I hope it is) releasing 2 or 3 cpus to reputable people (all manufactures have some kind of secure insider).Anandtech and Toms hardware would be...
I have been trying to keep up will the Ryzen 3000 cpus since it was announced. I have read page after page all over the net watched yt videos of speculation and saw 1 bench I think it was cinabench. Every other person has said wait for reviews.'
With that said I have one simple question. If...
Started reading this thread last night. If I read this right and the AMD MBs are $300 plus and the lesser expensive 3700x ($329) thats pretty steep to me.
Funny the way hardware works these days. One company comes out with a better chip, then in a year or 2 the other out performs them. I have not built an amd system in many years. Amd does have my attention, but if what I have read is true amd may be to expensive to mess with.
