i have returned the chip for direct replacment my took 1.4254 in bios for 3.80ghz and thats a eo steping chip and that was just to get in windows upped fsb vol and nb dant help i got a feeling it could be my ep45 ds3p there is no llc and vdroop is very bad but could be a dud

dude your board has load line calibration. read your own first post, you listed it as disabled lol this board ant got load line calibration in bios raist fsb vol and nb no good wont boot to windows with less voltage that stated an eo shouldnt that much voltage for sure

yes it is a eo stepping i was gunna buy new Asus P5Q pro board but dont want to spend 100 pound if its my e8400 only brought this board and chip 4 weeks ago
