    PC133 memory configuration question

    The kt133 chipset recognizes pc133 ram. There is a bios option to set ram speed, but it is set to auto by default. You should have no trouble. I would not expect to see much improvement in your system, but everything helps. Pete

    Robert Try copying the windows installation files to your hard drive. Then disconnect everything except processor, ram, and video. See if this will work. You can then start installing hardware one device at a time. Pete

    One thing I have done, with some success, is delete everyting in device manager. This must be done in safe mode. a reboot will detect all devices. This is not a guaranteed fix, but it has worked in the past.
