Knowing that it at least attempts to support USB 2.0 high-speed transfer rates is a huge factor over a device that only attempts to support USB 1.0 transfer rates. Having used my JBR 15 at USB 1.0 before I got a USB 2.0 card, I can vouch that the difference in transfer rate is very significant.

If your package didn't include a pouch, I would be suspicious that it was previously owned or refurbed. Also, the latest JBR 15 & 20 are USB 2.0 - supposedly the indication of a newer model is that the corner bumpers are black instead of blue.

Dallas area Fry's have this item listed for $160 for this weekend, even though it isn't available from outpost anymore. Check the price at other area Fry's.

Just curious if anyone can verify if the 15GB Recorder actually supports USB 2.0 transfer rates. I just got one of these devices, but I only have USB 1.0 on my PC, so can't verify the transfer rate. My box had a sticker slapped on the outside that states "USB 2.0 Compatible", but I would hope...
