What would happen with the RAM then? I mean, if the Mac uses 5V and the RAM 3.3V? Would it still just not POST or would it burn the RAM?

The line is very thin today... parts of the core of most processors are RISC based, but uses x86 instructions.

Actually, when there is big a solar storm going on, it could take out satelites and powerstations quite easily! But I doubt that ECC memory will help in that situation! ;)

Hi, It sits on number 17, all alone... I read an old thread about a guy who had a similar problem like mine...he installed the Via 4.29 drivers, and that solved it for him. Unfortunantly, I cant install the Via drivers...:(
