    I can play a divx on Mp7, but i prefer to play it on the Creative playcenter or the Xing player.

    Go with the GeForce. It's dual display is pretty much Tv-out. Ati's Dual monitor "Hydravision" is alright,but lags unbelievably in Win2k and is IMO , only useful when pumping an mpeg file out to a tv,while surfing the net on a monitor. Two monitors, will allow you to show two apps...

    Woodie's right , type regedit in the "Start" run , the do like he says to get to current version. If you scroll down you'll see the product key. IE... for Win98se, it's kr7qx-hbwtr-h83gf-qq2x7-pgjkg.. etc.. lol. for me it will look similar.

    cdrom is seen, not accessible..

    Make a boot disk and boot to it. It should load the cdd driver and ID it. If it does , try reading a cd. If it reads no problem, then the error is most likely with your o/s.

    Go into the registry, local machine/soft/micros/windows/currentversion set a new item called acpioption, set it's value to "0". Go into safe mode blow away the enum key, and redetect hardware after a reboot.

    Radeon VE dual monitor setup??

    In display settings, is the other monitor enabled? There is a tab in the desktop configuration that displays the primary/secondary setup as well. It's kinda funny , because i use a black desktop background and when i enabled the second monitor(it was my tv) I couldn't tell if it was working...

    yes, actually got a win98se install to go flawlessly , but came across a lot of random errors / lockups when running apps. I read somewhere that the p3's are incompatible with the 810 and lock anyway, so i'm probably just wasting my time trying

    good if you burn to hdd first , bad if you burn straight cd to cdrw.
