Final Upgrade Plan for World of Warcraft

Yeah, last night was amazing. I was on Test 6 and fought in battles from Hillsbrad to Ashenvale. My current PC was getting about 1 frame every 10 seconds with all those people and spell effects, it was nuts. Hopefully my new system will fair much better =) But for raids, I will still be...

    GPU power question

You could download something like 3DMark and see which does better, the onboard or the PCI card. Usually, onboard video sucks and you are always advised to use a video card. That 9200SE will probably work out best. Have fun at your LAN party!

    Serious Hardware Issues

I think your 300w Power Supply might be too little for that PC. When you run games, it puts your PC on overdrive, using every once of power available. If you keep crashing, it could be just a driver issue. Therefore, update your video card drivers and maybe others. Or your video card...

    HL2 system with a budget

http://www.sharkyextreme.com/h...le.php/3211_3093161__3 You figure, if it can handle Quake 3 at max with a VERY high fps, it should be able to handle HL2 at medium.

    HL2 system with a budget

The 9600XT is an awesome buy. For the $150 price range, which 9800 Pro doesn't fall into, you can't go wrong. Just find a few benchmarks/reviews and you will see that it plays the latest generation of games (UT2004, Farcry, Doom3, HL2) at modest-to-high settings. As long as you don't plan on...
