Not such a HOT deal. I bought into this 8-10 months ago......never got my rebate from these theives. I have called them twice but never got a rebate.

With regard to noise and Maxtor hard drives. I have had great luck with them in various PC's. BUT....I did have a Dish Network PVR that had a 40GB Maxtor inside and it was soooooooooooooooooooo loud. I ended up downggrading the unit to the basic (non-PVR) receiver. This was no easy...
