I would say that s a pretty good overclock.

You can enable S.M.A.R.T. in bios which will check the hd for problems or use the diagnostics cd the drive came with. If it is still under warrenty your best bet is to return it for a replacement.

The one your at looking is fine. 450 watt is plenty. Antec or enermax both are great psu's

940 will soon become 939, the 939 will not work in a 940 pin socket...these are the fx-51 or opteron chips while the 754 socket are the normal amd 64's, which will become 939 pin also supporting dual channel.

In benchmarking yes. To the naked eye maybe, but nothing to get excited over. Yes it is a better overclocker. But if you intend to use both at the same time, you may have some issues, or it will run at the speed of the value ram. You should probably use pc3200 if you do. It will still work.

Adding the hyperx isnt going to help if you still plan on using the value ram. If you want more ram just buy the same stick or replace the value ram with the hyperx sticks.

Yes, turn off the lcd display. My sony camera eats up the battery too. I have a powersaver feature on mine, I am sure this isnt new technology, your camera probably has one to.

The raptor is loud as hell and I would personnaly wait to upgrade. The amd 64 is going to go to 939 pin and support dual channell, then I would definitly get that over a P4.

I see zipzoomfly has the price. Its there everyday price, but never the less its still an ok deal. I would probably get the corsair instead. Its a buck cheaper.

I think its because 3 reasons. 1. They have no idea what there bidding on and what it would cost new. 2. They have friends bidding and bumping the price. 3. They cant find the board elsewhere.
