Will I blow up my Mobo with this fan mod?Help!?

Thanks for the info. It looks like the 2 fans in series thing is a no-go then......I've heard that the 7V mod on the 4 pin has some potential inherent PSU related risks. Is this the case to your knowledge(360W thermaltake silent PSU)??

ThermalTake cases, version II vs. III

I've got the V II as well and it does the business if you ask me. It has no window and I've soundproofed it so it weighs a ton but it's quiet and relatively cool with only 2 of the 5 fans running...The front usb connections can get in the way of the case door but that's my only minor gripe...It...

Will I blow up my Mobo with this fan mod?Help!?

I'm currently running one 80mm 12V fan (thermaltake) at the back of my case(and one at the front) off the 4 pin 12V PSU connection. I want to run 2 fans in series off the same 4 pin connection (so that they are 2x 6V fans for noise reduction purposes) but will my Epox 8RDA+ be able to handle...

    memory in synch or not?

Hi there. I have some ddr 400 ram and an Nforce2 Epox 8rda+ running @ 170fsb. Now, should I run the RAM at its maximum timing (ddr 400) or will I get better performance synchronising it at 100% with the fsb so that it runs at 340DDR? My gut feel is that faster is always better but do I gain...

    Overheating my OC'd Althlon Tbred B 2400+??

Thanks guys, appreciate the advice. I bumped up the vcore 3 notches(1.65 to 1.725 - scuse the earlier typo!). Time to start pushing the fsb now I know the chip is fine and dandy...:D

    Overheating my OC'd Althlon Tbred B 2400+??

I've OC'd my 2400+ to 2.25 ghz @ 166fsb on an Epox 8RDA+ board (1.175 vcore and zalman copper flower cooler). The temp at load according to sisoft sandra after 3 hour loop is approx 55 centigrade. Am I killing my chip? It works stably enough on Unreal II for hours.. Anyone got a similar...
