thank you amdskip for the tip on dma system is running nice small problem with on broad sound will get soundcard anyway so no big deal played quake3 for about a hour no hangup or lockup 3dmark sore is 8108 so far

got winxp install systems seems to be fine can anyone help with dma in winxp had a problem with the usb downdloaded 1.1 and 2.2 drivers working ok now

ok first problem harddrive bad wd80g (smartdisk fail) had problem with this harddrive in last system. replaced with another wd80g and now can install win xp
