The alcohol idea isn't so bad. But chances are your gonna need alot of bubble wrap so that the egg doesn't break upon impact. And all this plastic is gonna require some heavy duty burning....so...... use gasoline. Gasoline will burn long enough to burn all the plastic.

Its a Sony Cybershot DSC P5 camera. I'm trying to somehow get to where the lens protector closes and opens. It closes when i turn the unit off, but it will not open once I turn it on....I have to open it manually. Anyone know how I can take the lens out?....I tried taking it apart but couldn't...
