Try reinstalling divx alpha 3.11 and when windows prompts you and askes if you want to keep the newer file you are replacing with an old one say no and use the old file that comes with divx 3.11, that's what people need to do to hear the sound on my encodes. good luck

Yes its in a Compusa box (Compusa by Maxtor) i bought one yesterday it's a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus ultra 133 7200rpm buffer 2mb avg access time 9.1ms 3yr warranty. I really wasnt looking to buy a hdd but it was so cheap i had to buy it.
