i would be really really pissed if it was my monitor...it's basically brand new...and i had to RMA two before i got this one....fcuking took forever...now this one has worked like a dream up until now (if it's what's borked) i already RMA'd one of my 2 ram sticks as well...such bad luck :\

i almost never bump posts...i let this get down to the 3rd page before doing so...doesn't anyone have any ideas about what to do? i can test my RAM by switching the two sticks in and out...does that mean my mobo is somehow fried if neither stick works? i've already RMA'd one of my 2 512MB...

wait wait wait...you're gonna buy a $200 card to hold you off until mid-summer...like...a month or two? just save your $$ and get an x800 or 6800. though the 9800p should last you...if you get one of those you won't have to upgrade mid-summer anymore...and you won't be buying a slow card for $130.

no kidding matrices...i think the ppl doing that are just i'm-doing-it-for-fun overclockers....or they're dumb. i'm gonna buy a 9800p today, and i'm not going to OC it until it feels slow and i have the $$ to replace it.

newegg has 9800pro's for $210 and less. just spend the extra few bucks and get one of them. i don't think the 128-bit ones are worth a crap. for another $30 or so you can get the real thing that has double the RAM bandwidth...the 128bit's are just a rip off, imo. same thing with the 9700...

yea...i guess it's just a matter of getting one in the next 2 weeks...
