Thats just about my price range.... i'm usually an Nvidia type of guy myself but i'm definatelly up for trying new things. Anyone with other ideas?

Hello all, I'm upgrading my video card, mostly because I fried it from not having enough cooling in my case... not to mention the fan that comes with it is really crappy. Wondering what you guys would suggest for a modest upgrade to this card..... any specific manufacturer would greatly help...

I generally use my computer to play games, mostly Q3A. But I can see your point. Just not sure If I want to spend an extra 95 bucks for some more ram.

Is it worth it to buy an extra 256 megs of ram, to add to my 256 megs? Or is it just a waste of time and money? Someone told me that after you get to 256, it's pretty much useless if you spend the extra cash to get more ram. Is this true?

I am going to be taking a hard drive out of one of my computers (p2-400) and put it into my p3-700. Just wondering if the hard drive will be ok without formatting. The new computer has many different components (video card, sound card, network card)
