Thanks, but everything is fully seated. What's bizarre is that while they are higher power draw cards, the noise occurs while web browsing and that's when both cards sit idle at around 10-15W. What PSU tester do you mean?

All worked out well in the end. I may have been lucky but with all bios settings on default my sample idles at 30C and doesn't go above 80 under full load, and that is under Noctua NH-15 with only one fan(had to drop the second fan because of tall ram modules). I'm absolutely fine with that...
