Loving my abit nf7-s v2. Got two systems running them, one with a 2500barton the other with a xp1700. Sata raid still has bugs, other then that i've got them running 24/7.
I've used the 8045 on both the nf7-s v1.2 and 2.0
For v1.2 you have to cut alittle off the top washer.
For v2.0 no problems at all.
As for sata raid... beware!!!! i'm with Shimmishim, I'm currently looking for a pci raid solution. Any recommendations. Was thinking about 3ware for true...
Shimmishim:
Those corrupt files you keep running into are from you using (raid OR having both drives) on the sata controller of you NF7-S.
I've tried using the sata controller card on my nf7-7 with no sucess. I've tried it with raid 0, raid 1, with different drives all with data corruption...

Yes you can use those drives in a raid config, but you wont want to with the nf7-s sata raid controller...

Have about the same exact setup as you. I solved my random reboots and unstablity by removing my linksys network card.
Ever since i've installed my netgear card its never had a hicup.
