I may have answered my own question. . . maybe. . .I just right clicked on one of the icons on my desktop. . . Then clicked on the Compatiblilty tab. . . There is a check box that says "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution". I'm gonna run home at lunch and give this a try on his computer...

Looks like they may be running at 800x600. . . . monitor won't support that resolution. Any other ideas? Thanks, Lyn

Looney, We just tried it on a plain tv. . . text was bad. This is going to be his primary lcomputer, and his primary tv. He has a big built in his room, and there isn't really room for both a tv and a monitor. He has a directv tuner, and dvd player, so i'd probably be better off with an LCD...
