Yup, all the connections seem ok. And nothing has changed nor is anything blocking it. Something else I forgot to mention...If I have something playing while it's off, then turn it on, it sounds normal for a fraction of a second, then goes back to being muffled. Not sure if that's relevant. Karl

maybe it's because the specification was designed in the southern hemisphere, in which case they are really pointing up *g* :))) Karl (yes, the shared isa/pci slot thing makes the most sense...but most of us forgot that since a lot of us have mobo's which don't have a (shared) ISA slot anymore).

Can anyone explain what the difference between CAS2 and CAS3 is? Is the difference significant? Can you mix and match the two? and how do I know what my current memory is? Thanks, Karl
