Tauren, does Windows prompt you to logon at startup? If not then I suspect that auto logon may have been enabled. Look in Control Panel for the TweakUI applet.

Can you see the drive when booting form a 98 boot floppy? If you don't have a boot floppy look here: www.bootdisk.com
