i was thinking about getting the asus k7v kt133a to use its ide raid 0 capability, but i was wondering (cause i think i read this somewhere with regards to ide raid itself, not the asus k7v) if the hds must be on different channels and other ide devices cannot operate while the raid is active...

i discovered that dell does not charge tax from its home section, but if you order from its small business, like the deal with the dimension desktops a while back, they add tax to your order because you're claiming you're a business
