heads up to ATL peeps, buckhead store had 6 of these on shelf 2 days ago.

Picked up the Magellan Roadmate 6000T on clearance at target today for $299. Unit was $599. I got the Roadmate 2000 last week at frys. Will post later on comparison. The 6000T does have the live traffic mode (3 months free), bluetooth, and has voice text to speech. Anyone else have this...

the routing and maps are not that good, IMHO on the mio.

price back up to $299 in store. not available online now. Now that I've used it a couple of days, I am very happy with it and works tons better than the Mio.

the mio does have SIRFIII, but uses teleatlas maps and routing. As the roadmate has SIRFIII and Navteq. ***** One major problem. I called magellan about a map update, and I thought they said maps could NOT be updated on this unit !!!! I not sure why there would be a SD slot on the unit...
