Do this. Get a spliter. Screw the cable on it. There will be two other cables going out of the spliter. One goes to ur tv the other on your PC. I dont think you will be paying more. Thats what i did and never told them i watch cable TV.

If i have a p4 would it run MUCH faster with rambus then it would with SDRAM? I mean is the difference huge in preformance? Can someone point me to an article pls?:)

Ok here is the story. I tried Mandrake on my new PC (with a different Hard disk though). My new PC has a 800 pentium 256 RAM g force 256ddr, Philips sound card Linksus Nick card. Install and boot up was smooth and with no problems. I took the same Hard drive and I installed it on an older PC...

Ah it has gone through Lilo ( i supose you mean the point where it asks you if you wanna boot in safe/fail mode-floppy-Linux,,,,,right?). I only have a video card on it, a sound card and a 56 k modem. I will take the modem and sound card off and see what happenes.

yep it has worked on my P3 800 machine. But on my _2 300 256 Ram machine it gets stuck on the "Current state: Booting" . Thats after the Welcome screen.

I have a PII300 256RAM PC and I installed Linux Mandrake 8.0. When I start the PC it goes on to boot and it reaches the "Current state: Booting" and it freezes there. When I did an install of linux in my P3 800 256 RAM machine everything went well. Anybody can guess what is wrong?

I didnt sleep at all last night. Not even an hour. My eyes are closing now. I feel like its 7 pm and its 4 pm. If i go to sleep now I will n0ot be able to sleep at night and am gonna be paying it tomorow. What sould i do to stay awake? besides drinking cofeee. Crap my hands I can barely keep...
