After spending hours on the net and particlulary on www.mandrakeforum.com, I am still as dumb as the chair I'm sittin' on. Those linux sites are so confusing, I still have no idea where the forum on www.mandrakeforum.com is.
Anyway, I was just wondering if Mandrake 8.2 Beta 3 supports NTFS file...
Ever since I installed 21.83 drivers, I've been getting this infinite loop error now and then (the blue screen of death in XP has actually some usefull info....cool). My system would shut down, but when I reboot, my graphics looked messed up, lots of artifacts and stuff, even my first boot...

I changed my pin settings on my mobo, and I disabled onboard SB 128. Then, I went to my BIOS setup, and I see there a bunch of options for AC 97. I've never saw those options before, apparently, those options are only displayed...
well, here is the thing........SB 128 is actually an onboard sound card, I cannot take it out, I can only disabe it. And if I disable it, I will have no sound whatsoever. I also have something called AC97 something something, could that thing be used as a sound card?
hmmm......I do have an onboard sound........maybe that's the problem
And by the way, my "popping" sound is connected to video card activity only.......
maybe i should just run out and get myself some cheap soundcard.......

I was working on a computer when all of a sudden the computer restarted, and I got a message saying "PLEAse insert boot device" or something. I went to the bios setup to make sure that my hardrive is detected and that it's my boot device. MY motherboard did indeed detect my hardrive...
But I saw V5 6000 on 3dfx's site once. Later, for some reason, v5 6000 and its specs were removed from 3dfx..... so there was officialy at one point v5 6000.
