i have a hdd that died on me, no longer spins most likely due to a bad motor. the data on the drive is siginificant to me though, and people keep telling me that i was dumb for not keeping backups (of 85 gigs of media...) in any case, are there any small-time solutions that dont cost 2g's...

okay i have two sticks of memory, with what looks like sixteen chips on it a piece. three numbers on them stick out, one is 3397-01 which appears at the long end of the stick in green print in a white box. another number, k668 with some logo that looks like RU and another number, 94v-0 appear...
