Right (early Monday!).
So that puts you at #1 in the rankings:
Your Diamond City score is only the 2nd best, but your Corvega score is far ahead of every other score. I suspect Diamond City with all the NPC is less drawcall focused and hence your Corvega results imply you have a huge lead in...
Perhaps.
But consider this: what is one of the most important things in foundry?
Volume. Volume. Volume.
And missing all those booms meant less volume. So ignoring all the other problems with foundry, if they had executed better they really would have needed the volume as the capital...
Having seen the "is X amount of VRAM" threads shut down so many time in so many places... It is almost that a few posters act like they are being paid to get those thread shut down. Now if those posters are not being paid... Well why shill for free!?
On the only other forum I regularly post on...
I think it's easy to see their obvious driver problems and conclude that is their only weakness. And without competent drivers they have to sell low.
However, the last time I looked into this their perf/area and perf/transistor was really poor. For dGPUs perf/transistors is absolutely crucial.
The return of LaserDisc: Dragon's Lair 2025 edition!
Is W1zzard's shilling now trying to compete with DF's?
Certainly guaranteed to continue to get favourable access to Nvidia stuff.
Or maybe a shareholder. Although after reading at least some of the sponsored "put down DeepSeek, and praise...
Sure. But then I meant any attempt to push 700W or 800W through those cards is suicide run territory anyhow IMO. Even on water. Certainly not something anyone tight (or sane) with cash would do!
Ignoring how bad a connector this is, how much overclock headroom can those 550W+ 5090 possibly have?
Maybe an overpriced overclocker's motherboard can give an out-of-spec 100W through the PCIe slots. Plus a risky 700W through the single connector. For a max total of 800W? Although more power...
While I don't necessarily disagree with that, maybe AMD not making 550mm² RDNA4 chip does make sense - because in that scenario it would only have existed so people could buy a more powerful Nvidia card for less!
I don't know about the earlier PCIe 8pin's 80% figure or the 90% claim for 12VHPWR, but surely 600W / 756W is about 80% which is far closer to 90% than 50%.
To this day, I can't see any possible advantage to these new connectors yet Nvidia stubbornly stick to them in some Apple-like "we know...
For Zen6 ISA feature best I could find is this post
Nevermind software developers, anyone working on AVX/AMX at Intel/AMD/VIA needs to feature table big enough to cover a whole wall just to know what they themself support. Software developers have it even harder as that whole-wall table really...
The magic firmware upgrade will fix ARL - especially in games - always has an extreme copium vibe to it IMO.
About the only way I might have bought it, is it we had tons of rumours of Intel launching ARL nearly totally unready. We heard some rumours of a slightly rushed launch but not enough to...
