i got my acknowledgement about 2 hours after submitting the order, and just got order confirmation another 2 hours later. ship date - on or before oct 18. i hope i made the right move with the E151FP, maybe i should have upgraded. i guess i can still sell it. 15in E151FP (S+P price $349)...

actually, one can build this system for a drop less than that. but not if one is legally obtaining windows XP. it sucks that they don't actually give you the disk though. what happens in 2 years if you want to do a reformat and reinstall?

i just opened my drive to install it. it says on it, "not for resale in the US, Europe, or Japan." rather strange that it was for sale here in the US, isnt it? should i call WD?

i don't know what the best is for the atx, it would probably be the soyo sy-6vca, the gig ga-6vx-4x, the asus p3v4x, or the abit vt6x4. all based on the via apollo pro 133a (694x) for an at, here's one for $22 shipped. Its probably ok and you wont beat the price...

this is still available and i'm thinking i might get one. it would be nice to have the tuner and i'd like to transfer some videos. one thing i was wondering about, with the tv tuner, assuming i connected cable tv, is it possible to get scrambled stations. how would i get hbo etc, that i need...

i bought my voodoo 3 a few years ago from value america. half price and a rebate,etc. you might be able to get a good price on it from them if you wait to get some value dollars.

i bought mine at Best Buy for 16.99 yesterday. i can't get rid of the captions. i went into setup captions none but whatever i do, the movie has the captions on the bottom. is it my player or my copy of the dvd?
