I am testing my overclocked cpu, currently at 1400, and I was wondering how AMD (or Intel) check's them. I guess that an AMD 1, 1.1 and 1.2 are basically the same and a test tells them what speed they can do. What programs are they using or is it a hardware based setup or ....????? Thanks

Big Lar, I'm sure your setup is good. I just don't have the guts to make my own setup therefore I bought the Vapochill. And to be honest, I also bought it to make some friends **really** jealous ;-) (Mine is bigger than yours and so on...)

Is anyone using a Vapochill? I am just curious how users could overclock with it. Bought one but still have to wait until tuesday to assemble it :(

shiznut123, they don't 'unlock' it. It is unlocked as standard, but cpu's with a lower Mhz-rating where locked by cutting the l1-bridges. By doing this you could not change the multiplier yourself. (unless you do the pencil trick)

Next week I'll buy myself an Atlon 1.2 and a new KT133A Mb (probably Abit KT7). Since I plan to do some serious overclocking (I'll buy a Vapochill also!) I'll need some excellent memory. Problem is that I can't find PC150 memory in Europe. Anyone knows a place where I can buy them or some...
