If your running XP, then it should be a simple fix. All you have to do is right click on MY COMPUTER, then click the ADVANCED tab, then click the SETTINGS button under STARTUP AND RECOVERY and uncheck Automatically Restart P.S. This doesn't fix the problem, but it does stop the restarts!
