I am having an issue with the powersource on my laptop. It seems the spot where I connect the power cord to has become loose and I want to open it up to make it tight, so my battery can charge (as currently it charges when ever the connectors are in the perfect spots). Anyone have any good links...

reinstalling xp now but it looks like this is why it wasnt working...

dos....no os installed yet....trying to install. Can you update the bios via cd? My floppy drive dont work.

I am trying to install Red Hat 9 on a new computer....it starts up and goes through its normal process, it then gets the asking me the keyboard type and language. Then after this it comes up asking me to put the cd....the cd is already in and ive burnt the cd twice! Once at 24x (the fastest) and 4x.

Going in through dos it shows the hard drive is 32 GB, did an fdisk and it shows its 100% used with no extra space left, formatted a couple times, still showing 32 GB. Its a cicero 80 GB Hard drive. Any suggestions on how to get it to show 80 GB before I install XP onto it?
