Hey-------- I'll second the Pioneer DV-333 from Amazon. I got one for X-MAS and it plays CD-R (both store bought and burnt at home on my Plextor) and CD-RW just fine. Of course it plays DVD's (HEAT and BLADERUNNER) fine too! Well worth the $179 in my book! :D
