Submerge it in a bucket of diesel fuel for an hour. Then do the same with a bucket of lacquer thinner. Blow it off good with 150 psi air compressor.
Then spray it down real good with febreeze.
Bruce, it looks like most routers less than 10 years old have 4 antennas. But since you feel this is merely a marketing ploy, there's no reason why you can't simply use two connectors. I agree that some of the latest do look like porcupines, and wonder just how much better they work.

I have an ancient cannon Lide 20 scanner that's so old I can't find any software that will run on anything later than win XP. No problem though, I just run windows XP in a virtual box. Took a little fiddling setting it all up, but works perfectly :)
You may be right. It will almost screw into an 18650 flashlight, but it's very slightly too big. Maybe I bought it by mistake many many years ago. Or maybe it's defective.

Never trust any USB cable, even if it was an expensive brand named item.
USB 2 or lower is fairly forgiving, but anything above that speed, I always suspect the cable first.
