Two questions -- you said the player didn't skip in the car. I was thinking of getting one of these to use while on a treadmill at the gym. Think it could handle that kind of vibration without skipping? It's gotta be bettter than trying to read. Also, how long will the battery pack last?
Thanks
Like I posted earlier today, OD online wouldn't let me purchase the HDD ... couldn't put it in my cart even though it said 'In Stock.' I couldn't put it on my list either!
So, I went to the local OD and picked up their last one. I lost out on the $20 (or $15) on-line coupon, but I can't beat...
I couldn't hold out anymore ... $703!!! I ordered mine today.
BTW -- The 20% discount won't show up until you add the monitor to your cart. I talked to a sales rep, dead pixels aren't an issue because you can return within 30 days for any reason.
TxBBQ,
I just checked out the OEM Digi-Qs at ToyEast. Does your controller have a channel selector switch? I didn't see one in the picture.
Also, they have a four-car charging station for the Digi-Qs on thier site for pre-order ... charge up to four cars at once. This thing looks to plug...
I thought all Digi-Qs were built alike ... I guess not. The Takara ones (that's all I have) use IR for control signals, and I've found the range to be superior to my Bits R/C range (no mods).
I also think the Digi-Qs look a little 'bubbly.' Because of that, the new VW Bettle is the most...

The steering on the Digi-Qs is not like the steering on the bits. The Digi-Qs use differential steering -- one motor on each of the rear wheels -- and the front wheels DO NOT turn. For example, for the Digi-Q to turn left, the motor on the right side turns faster than the one on...
I have an original Digi-Q -- the Audi TT. I think all the current Qs are too 'rounded' looking. This is why I think the New Beetle looks the most realistic. Overall, the Bits look a little better, but that will change when the F1 Qs come to market (when?). They looked very nice! I think the...
Got my Bit -- special edition w/2.6 motor -- last Friday and it looks sweet! I like all the mods the Bits have, but my Digi-Q is the better handling of the two. The proportional speed and turning make it much easier to handle right out of the box ... especially with the programmable...
Check out some of the US-based suppliers. The limited edition Bits (with the 2.6 motors) are around $40 each and the regular Bit Char-Gs are less. I'd say, for only one or two cars the total costs would be about the same as ordering from Hong Kong or Japan. They get to your door in a few days...
I've read a lot about the latest (AXIA?) Tbirds coming multiplier unlocked from AMD, is this true? If so, when did this start ... with the 266 MHz fsb?
Thanks
