@topmysteries5 it actually looks like it did put the 80_20 on as my AVX2 score went way up...downside is that I lost my 3.7 single core boost...could you send me that first EFI again? All I need to do is drop it the EFI/Boot and replace the other one correct?
@topmysteries5 very interesting...so the bios you gave me removed the microcode and the rest assigned new variables via EFI? So how would I get back to just the bios with no microcode? Delete some things from the EFI folder?
@topmysteries5 I tried simply renaming it and replacing the file on the EFI partition but I lost boost. So I went through shell and it said that 2nd file wasn't an image...Renamed and not renamed...then I tried the original file and it worked fine...Not sure...I would love to see it work...
Strange when I rename it to the same and replace it I lose the boost...I decided to go back into shell and use the new file renamed the same as the old one and it says topmysteries5_boost is not an image...is there something different about that new file?
My efi partition has 2 efi files...yours and a bootx64...should I delete that one and just have 1? And do I need to rename the 80 20 to your original filename?
Ok sweet...would you happen to have that??? the 80 20 efi? I don't remember seeing that but maybe I need to keep reading through these posts...Would the 80 20 efi effect my CB score? or just AVX2?
Hey @topmysteries5 , I did not...I did tighten the RAM timings a bit and it's running beautifully...Which efi files would you recommend? I assumed the one you sent was a rebranded version on the V3 efi I saw in this forum...right?
Messed with it for a bit and it seemed stable at 106, but only got me 20 pts on cinebench so I dialed it back...I am THRILLED with the added performance and I cannot thank you enough!
hmmm...dunno...Running at 105 I'm getting 2859 in Cinebench - 18 cores at 3.359...I'm VERY happy with that...Is there anything else in the bios I should tweak?
