just FYI - i bought the ASUS a7v333 refurb from newegg, and it was DOA :( from what i've seen here, though, there seem to be at least as many posts of successful refurbs as there are DOAs... so trying a refurb deal is probably worth the risk if you don't need the part immediately and can spare...
