i have an x2 4200+. i originally bought a refubished (never again) an8 fatal1ty sli. the board had issues and was returned. i then tried the regular an8 fatal1ty (no sli).....liked the board but lacked all the options i wanted. so i returned that one and got a new (not refurbed) an8 fatal1ty...

no such thing as overkill on the psu! get the best you can afford....do not skimp! as was said already....you will carry it into the next build, so go for the best now, you won't regret it! i went for the pc power and cooling 510 sli and i am loving it!!

1t works fine for me....ocz pc3500@ 2,2,2,5,1t. i was peviously using 1 gb of kingston hyperx pc4000 and that also ran fine with 1t (3,4,4,8,1T). if it is overvolting.....rma it quickly! this is a known issue with some of these boards. i rma'd mine and recieived a properly running board...

i just went thru that issue with my an8 sli fatal1ty about a month ago! there is no fix for it except for an rma. i see you have been to the abit forums, so you've no doubt seen the threads regarding overvolting (mine included). there was one thread where the member took before and after...
