Well, I tried something new which somehow works. If you set the monitors to different resolutions then the refresh rates must also be different, and vice versa. Otherwise, you will get distortions. However, if both are different then there appears to be no interference.

I think the limitations of the cable force all the devicies on it to run at the same speed. Thats why you should never run a cdrom drive on the same ribbon cable as your hard drive.
First of all thanks for reading this. I just recently bought a new 19" monitor. Before, I was using 2 15" monitors in a horizontal span at 1024x768 each.
Now that I have my new monitor I decided I would take the better of my 2 old 15" and run it next to the 19. Obviously 1024x768 doesnt look...
