I think the limitations of the cable force all the devicies on it to run at the same speed. Thats why you should never run a cdrom drive on the same ribbon cable as your hard drive.

First of all thanks for reading this. I just recently bought a new 19" monitor. Before, I was using 2 15" monitors in a horizontal span at 1024x768 each. Now that I have my new monitor I decided I would take the better of my 2 old 15" and run it next to the 19. Obviously 1024x768 doesnt look...
