RjG, I guess NCQ (native command queuing) is the same thing as TCQ that I was reading about disabling on other forums. Thanks for the tip on HDTACH. NF430 chipset that's right, I keep thinking it's NF4 chipset. Its more like a "derivative" of the NF4 chipset. -derek
