well in the screenshot that you took, you were only using 10% cpu usage (look at the bottom). Of course we would need a screenshot when the "spike" occurs.

Can we have some more information please? What os are you running? What processes are running? Ctrl+Alt+Del>task manger>processes> sort the cpu colum and see whats taking up the cpu Hope this helps. Get back to us with the information.
