To put mine on I used the end of a socket driver. They are rounded so it holds the little clip better and decreases the chances of it slipping. Haven't tried taking it off yet but putting it on was a breeze.

I have an Enlight 7237 and to take off the top panel I had to drill out the rivets holding it on. After that I just used some small bolts to hold it back on. You could get a pop-rivet gun and re-attach it that way but using the bolts allows you to take it off in the future if need be.
