I have a maxtor udma66 20gb drive on a mb that supports udma66, but i was wondering if there was somewhere i could go to make sure that it is. Is there a place that could tell you? Oh, and what about the ide settings in your bios, i see all these eide, eei or whatever, but which one is for what?

I plan to go out and get one of these. Batery usuage will be no problem. I use rechargable alkaline bateries. They drain, i pop in two new one and recharge the drained ones.

I simply can't recomend anyone of those, i almost feel uneathical. There are bad computers, crappy computers, beyond crappy computers, and then there are Compaqs and HP's. You know what i mean.
