hi, i just have a few questions about partitions. i just got a brand new sata harddrive and i wish to of course format it. now to do that can i simply use partition magic straghit away or do i have to do some thing else first, coz i think i may not have done my ide drive correct when i did it...

hmmm not enough room. i only have about 50gig free out of 550gig, i was thinking about buying another hdd coz i dont wanna risk merging partitions and then have files go missing. seems like its the only way sigh, i am spending way too much money on this computer lol
