alpha is the most bang for the buck... and u dont need air going in circles in ur case. u just need it to come in from the front and out of the back. keep the air moving.....not, in circles.... maybe get round cables? they are always nicer looking than those flat wires....and it also helps...
thx... on my PSU idle voltage is 1.69 and when i go to heavy load it goes down to 1.616. im planning on buying a antec truepower 430 watt PSU.....hope i get good results. ur sig is wrong, fix 3 mhz to GHz.
he doesnt have his videocard to test it....y dont u rip out the video card from the PC u are using now and install it to ur new rig??? run wcpu and also see if it OCs good....
engineering samples have a s spec codes starting with a Q.....and wcpuid would tell if it is a C1 or BO. how do i kno this??? i have one.....it might identify it as a 2.5GHz cpu though....

i dont think some of them are outright lies....its really about what the highest speed u can OC ur CPU. i dont believe they are running it at that speed 24/7. its just like finding the limit of ur CPU. i think the OCers on the database have to email in a SS of WCPU or whatever. ur right, it is...
hmmm u didnt list ur CPU temp....ur probably around 50's??? well my p4 1.8@ 2.4 is running at a cool 33 idle and 40C max load. and im talking about more than 6 hours of prime it will not go over 40C...i also have nice airflow through my case though....
the p4 HSF are decent, but i noticed a 10C degrees drop when i added my alpha pal 8942. the intel HSF will be fine if u dont OC. if u do OC, the intel HSF is fine for small OCing. If u plan do try and get the most OC from ur chip then u will need a better HSF. to get a newer stepping u would...
