    just a thought. does any1 think or have tried deleting a partition and then recreating the entire partition?? will that help in my situation?? I had used up the entire 160gig so if i recreate a new 160gig partition. will i be able to see my data?? hmm.... It's still shows as a (active)...

    it's brand new seagate, and i've check the hd for hardware error with several tools. There's no sign of hd faulty error. I need to get my data from that hd. I dont believe factory will help me claim those data back. would they??
