Ive seen this happen before when you select custom install instead of express. Try that if you havent! If not, then yeah.. somethings messed in your reg. Its not allowing the drivers to install properly. i suggest u use something called Drive clean or something found here...

Did u happen to install the drivers by selecting custom setup, or express?? If custom, give express a shot!
