Thanks for all the info so far, spent the day formatting my partition to NTSF and reinstalling WinXP and all the software, but now I'm looking for a program (free/shareware) that will convert .avi to MPEG2... Anyone?

Tried doing it the long way with TMPGE and it comes out when done with 2 files, an MP2 file which I assume is the audio portion and a M2V file, which I don't know what it is (probably the video because of the size). But when I launch Nero and select DVD-Video and then try to drop the file in...

Was so looking forward to this card after reading Asus's initial specs. A radeon card with VIVO and dual DVI, but after reading this site it looks as the initial specs where wrong and it won't include dual DVI. I'll still probably get it as I don't see GeXCube advertising a 9600XT with VIVO yet...

Asus Radeon 9600XT (with VIVO and dual DVI)

What about the A-I-W Radeon 9800SE, I've seen starting to come out?

The Asus 9600XT and 9800XT both have what others don't, VIVO and dual DVI (as stated in the press release). I'm looking forward to the Asus 9600XT myself. The only thing I'm worried about is that the pics. of the card so far don't show dual DVI. But if it does, then it will be the only choice...

Anyone seen the new MSI DR4-A DVD burner? I think it's the Sanyo (Optorite DD0201) wiht a different faceplate. Probably with better support?
